It is with sadness that we have learned of the deaths of two former Parish Priests of Slieverue: Fr Pat Comerford who died on Sunday 13th Nov. & Fr Tom Murphy who died on Monday 14th Nov.

We pray for the eternal rest of Fr Pat & Fr Tom  and give thanks for their ministry in Slieverue and as priests of the Diocese of Ossory. We express our sympathy to their families at this sad time.

Mass will be celebrated for Fr Pat & Fr Tom in Slieverue Church on Sunday 11th December at 10.30 am

The funeral arrangements for Fr Tom & Fr Pat are as follows

Fr Tom Murphy R.I.P.

Reposing in St. Patricks Church Ballyragget from 3pm Wednesday 16th November. Family gather at 6pm, with Vigil prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass at 11am Thursday 17th followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Fr Pat Comerford R.I.P.

Reposing at the Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin from 4pm Tomorrow Tuesday 15th Nov with rosary and prayers at 7pm. Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday 16th November at 3pm in Killinaspick Church, X91 A263 followed by internment in the adjoining cemetery.
