Who died on Friday, 29th September 2023. Aged 86 years.

Predeceased by his daughter Margaret, parents Joseph and Bridget, brothers Jimmy and Joe.

Larry will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Sunday, 1st October, from 4pm (pausing for prayers at 4.45pm), followed by removal at 5.30pm to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, Larry’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday 2nd October at 11.30am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Reflection

In an era marked by strong currents of secularisation, materialism and individualism, when many people have pushed God to the margins of life, if they haven’t forgotten about Him entirely, Christians can be tempted to lose hope and retreat into a holy huddle... In the midst of such rapid change, some may be tempted to lose heart.
