Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Tuesday (27th January) from 7pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on arrival in the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank on Wednesday (28th January) at 12pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Esther Flynn (née Kavanagh)

Dominick Place, Waterford.

Who died on Wednesday 21st January 2026   aged 86 years.

Predeceased by her husband Michael (Mickey), parents, brothers Dominick, Thomas and Ned, sisters Kitty, Mary and Biddy.

Esther will be reposing in Killure Bridge Nursing Home, on Thursday, 22nd January, from 6pm until 8pm, Esthers removal will take place on Friday 23rd January to The Sacred Heart Church arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon, after which Esther will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Who died on Tuesday 20th January 2026   aged 93 Years.

Predeceased by her husband Nicholas, parents John and Anastasia, brothers Paddy, Sean, and James, sisters Carmel and Maura, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, nephew Oisín, brother-in-law Eamon.

Teresa’s removal will take place on Thursday 22nd January, to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am, after which Teresa will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery..

Ellen will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Wednesday, 14th January, from 5pm followed by removal at 7.45pm to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, Ellen’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 15th January at 12noon, after which Ellen will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Kate will  be reposing in her home on Sunday, 11th January, from 11.30am until 5.30pm, Kate’s removal will take place on Monday, 12th January to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am after which Kate will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
