St. John’s Park, Waterford and late of Waterford Crystal and Ferrybank, Waterford

who died on Monday 19th February 2024 Aged 70 years

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret, sisters Mary (Reville), Peggy (Turner), Nellie and her husband Larry (O’Brien).

Futter will be reposing in Powers Funeral Home, Ferrybank on Wednesday, 21st February, from 7.45pm until 8.45pm, Futter’s removal will take place on Thursday 22nd February to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am after which Futter will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Reflection

In an era marked by strong currents of secularisation, materialism and individualism, when many people have pushed God to the margins of life, if they haven’t forgotten about Him entirely, Christians can be tempted to lose hope and retreat into a holy huddle...
