Rosaleen Mallon (née Walsh)

Kilmurray Lane, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny

who died on Saturday 22nd February 2025 aged 82 years.

Predeceased by her husband John, parents, brothers, sister and grandaunt.

Rosaleen will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home Ferrybank on Monday 24th February, from 5.30pm followed by removal at 6.45pm to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, Rosaleen’s Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, 25th February, at 10am after which Rosaleen will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Reflection

In an era marked by strong currents of secularisation, materialism and individualism, when many people have pushed God to the margins of life, if they haven’t forgotten about Him entirely, Christians can be tempted to lose hope and retreat into a holy huddle... In the midst of such rapid change, some may be tempted to lose heart.
