Sr. Hanora Mary (Nuala) Mullins,

Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, Madonna House, Ferrybank, Waterford, formerly of Tullerboy, Athlacca, Co. Limerick,

who died on Sunday 28th July 2024 Aged 97 years

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mai Mullins (Née Halpin), brothers Willie, John and Dermot, sister Kathleen.

Sr. Nuala will be reposing in the Convent Chapel on Monday, 29th July, from 2pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Sr. Nuala’s removal will take place on Tuesday, 30th July, to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery.

Reflection

In an era marked by strong currents of secularisation, materialism and individualism, when many people have pushed God to the margins of life, if they haven’t forgotten about Him entirely, Christians can be tempted to lose hope and retreat into a holy huddle... In the midst of such rapid change, some may be tempted to lose heart.
