Upper Drumdowney, Snowhill, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny, late of Holy Ghost Residential Home and the Tower Hotel, Waterford

who died on Thursday, 12th December 2024 aged 70 years.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kathleen, brother John.

Tommy will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Saturday, 14th December, from 7.30pm until 9pm. Tommy’s removal will take place on Sunday, 15th December,

to The Church of The Assumption, Slieverue, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon after which Tommy will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Reflection

In an era marked by strong currents of secularisation, materialism and individualism, when many people have pushed God to the margins of life, if they haven’t forgotten about Him entirely, Christians can be tempted to lose hope and retreat into a holy huddle... In the midst of such rapid change, some may be tempted to lose heart.
