Renewing our Faith Communities- Volunteers Needed!
The season of Lent & Easter is a wonderful time to breathe new life into our faith communities. With the help of the Holy Spirit it is important to discern the needs of our Parishes and how we can best respond to the call of Pope Francis to become a more Synodal (or a church that walks together and welcomes) Church. The greatest resource we have in bringing all this about is our PEOPLE. More vibrant Parishes will only emerge when we place Christ at the centre and welcome the participation of people who are enthusiastic about Life and the Gospel and are willing to offer their gifts and talents in the service of the faith community. We are blessed in Ferrybank and Slieverue to have so many people involved- however there is always room for many more! This is why this weekend and during Lent and Easter we are inviting you to consider getting involved, to volunteer for one of the many ministries / aspects of parish life. To volunteer simply call the Parish Office and let us know which aspect of parish life you might be interested in getting involved in. We will be happy to provide you with further information before you commit.
