The Sanctuary Lamp burns in our church every hour of every day before the Blessed Sacrament to remind us that Christ is truly present with us in the Eucharist. When the light is on we know that the Lord is home! Many people find it a source of comfort when they come to pray here for their various intentions. 

An opportunity is now available to have the Sanctuary Lamp lighting for a week in memory of a deceased family member or friend or for a special intention for the living. 

All you have to do is contact the Parish Office and give the name of the deceased person or just ask for the lamp to light for your special intention. Your intention will be placed on the Blessed Sacrament Altar and if you so wish be published in the weekly newsletter. Your loved one or your intentions will be remembered during our Wednesday morning Mass and in a special way during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The suggested weekly offering for the Sanctuary Lamp Candle is €5. 

You can submit your Sanctuary lamp intention by contacting the Parish Office 051 830813 or calling between 10 am – 1 pm Monday – Friday. Alternatively you can submit  your  intention and offering online through our donate button here on our website. Please indicate your intention if donating online.
